Welcome to the website of the Museums of Alsace.

At the crossroads of the Rhenish world and of French influence, the Alsatian museums display their rich heritage, from the Neolithic era to contemporary art.

You will meet sculptors such as Nicolas Gerhaerdt de Leyde or Auguste Bartholdi as well as painters such as Gustave Doré, Conrad Witz or Grünewald; you will also discover the adventure of the carbuilding industry with Ettore Bugatti, the industrial history of textiles and wallpaper, the ancestral art of ironworking and ceramics and all the wealth of folk art in Alsace.
